Question

I know to stop swaddling when babies can roll over but what do they sleep in for warmth. Our house is chilly at night and just a sleeper won't do.

You're still not supposed to give them anything. You're supposed to get the armless sleepers or get warm footie pajamas (sleep n plays). But my baby girl has a small fleece blanket her grandmother made her that she won't sleep without.

If you get a sleep sack I would avoid the fleece ones. I feel they always leave baby hot and sweaty! I prefer natural fibers since they're more breathable. My favorite sleep sack is the Woolino brand, it's fairly spendy but I feel it's absolutely worth the price. My favorite more affordable one is the WeeUrban Cozy 4 season sleep sack.

We use a fleece sleep sack with a onesie and socks, but they're plenty big enough to add more layers if it's colder.
