When you and your spouse were financially able to move into your own apartment or house and live comfortably? (judgment free zone)

Sometimes I feel like I'm not working hard enough but I know I am, living in NYC is not easy.. finding a place here is even worse. 🤦‍♀️

I was 19 when I got my first apartment and was able to live comfortably. At 18 I lived in a dorm room when I was at school though.

I agree in NYC it's such a hard thing to find a reasonable apartment at a good place. New York is just expensive

I lived at home and went to school until I met my husband at 25, he had his own place and I moved in with him.

I was 21 when I moved, after college. Moved in with my hubby at 23... rented and just bought at age 32!

I moved out at 18. Definitely wasnt financially stable enough, just pissed off at my parents lol i think my husband moved out when he was 18 also but moved in with a roommate.

Moved out with my Husband at 10 months lol... (he was just a boyfriend at the time) 5 years later were in a nice apartment after going through some crappy ones. It never been a problem financially, he does have a decent job and I just work in a coffee shop. It's very possible, just know how to prioritize. 😄
