Pinterest is your friend. I'm currently pregnant with my third girl and had baby showers for all  of them. The first one was an elephant theme, second was a butterfly them, third was a woodland theme, and this one will be a a floral theme.
 My sister in law has two boys and I did her baby showers. First one was a vintage airplane theme and second one was a nautical theme. My mom had my brother a year ago and we threw her a sheep themed baby shower. 
There are so many ideas on Pinterest. I have tons more ideas as I am the party person in my family, so feel free to message me with questions or for pictures.

Forest animals are gender neutral I think.

I picked my shower theme before I knew the baby's sex. We're doing oh the places he/she'll go and just finalized colors after I found out the sex. My nursery theme is safari, which could be a gender-neutral shower theme, as well.
