AIRBRUSH TANNING?

Is it safe? I feel like I need a pick-me-up. I haven't done anything to my hair so that all the dye can grow out and once babies out I can change it but I need something to make me feel like a hot mama...

Anyone have any insight on airbrush tanning or something like St.Tropez is safe?

Any of the rub on tans are safe. Lotion, mousse, etc. They arent absorbed past the top few layers of skin so dont get into your bloodstream or anything like some people claim. Spray tans aren't "not safe" but aren't proven safe.  And since it gets in the air it's inevitable that you'll inhale some of it. That's alot of chemicals that may or may not affect your pregnancy. That's what my dr said. He said just stick with the rub-ons to be safe. I use st tropez and love it.

I'm not an expert but we use all kinds of soaps and lotions and such with chemicals so I don't see why a quick airbrush would be harmful. I could be wrong though.

Hi this is straight from the st tropez website  as you said you prefer that brand im a beauty therapist I always check brands to see if they are safe to use during pregnancy they usually give you a straight up answer on their website if they are safe although I recommend waiting till your out of your first trimester and make sure you are in a well ventilated Room or they have a good extraction fan system , if you have a mobile beautician come to you and the weather is great and you feel comfortable have your spray tan in your garden you will definitely inhale less product , but a spray tan usually only takes 15 minutes for the actual spraying part so anything you would inhale would be very minimal , I wear a mask as I can do a few in a day xx
