Is it worth it to have an elective gender reveal ultrasound?

I am! My drs office does everything in office so they didn't schedule my gender ultrasound until my next appt which will put me at almost 22 wks and I can't wait that long!!

I had one done yesterday at 16 weeks at a private ultrasound place. It was a wonderful! She took so much time with us (20 min scan!) letting us see our baby doing acrobats and such and she and was excited herself to be doing what she does. It made it all very special. She knew the gender right away. We got a dvd of the ultrasound and got to see the baby in 3d/4d. Awesome. I was skeptical before going, now I'm a major fan. It was 100% worth the 70 bucks in my opinion.

I'm having twins and I just want to really prepare ahead of time mostly so I can avoid spending massive amounts of money in just a couple months! Lol
I have one scheduled for this Friday :)

I didn't find out the gender with my first 2( both girls)... but would consider it this round if baby doesn't cooperate with the anatomy scan. I was organized after my 1st but after my 2nd I am not if I have another girl I'm going to have to sort of sizes of clothes and if it's a boy it's gonna be pretty easy to gut out the girly clothes... so to make my life easier I'd say it's worth it this round! With my first u had a shower after baby arrived and got a ton of clothes.  With my second I would have had a baby shower IF i had a boy but because i had a girl I was set. And all my stuff was fairly organized to bring out as needed. And this round I also was to experience what it feels like to know already and be able to shop early.... It's really up to you and how you feel about knowing or not knowing☺
