I'm just coming up to 38 weeks.. I've been braxton hicks for months now... but this morning I keep getting shooting pains low down in my vagina.

Is this something do with my baby getting engaged? Or body prepping for labour?

Ah lightening crotch, yes it probably means baby is moving down, compressing a nerve or just moving his/her head around low down. Unfortunately can happen for weeks before delivery though.x

It's just baby's presentation.
Make sure you are drinking a gallon of water a day to try to minimize the amount of BH you get.
