Thirsty

Does anyone get extreme thirst in the middle of the night, drink a huge glass or 2 of water (then have to pee 2 times in middle of night) and when you wake up to pee, feel like you have been in a desert and are extremely thirsty again? I am 34 weeks, had my gestational diabetes test earlier on and it was normal. I drink 8-10 glasses of water a day, on top of milk and orange juice. I live in a climate that is not super dry. What's the issue?!
