Ultrasound Questions! -Ascites

Okay so this is a question for health professionals or woman who have maybe experienced the concern of your baby having Ascites. I was just called by my OB who said he is going to set me up with a specialist due to there being fluid in my babies stomch/abdominal area. Everything else looked perfect, so that's a good sign as it can be caused by other issues. I am so nervous, I have never heard of Ascites before so I had many question but the Dr didn't seem like he had the time to listen. He basically said it can either be dealt with or the baby won't live- all just depends on the severity. If you've had experience with it, understand it, or know someone please please let me know your opinions. I don't want to just google it although I will do research but google is sometimes dramatic.
