Has anybody not had a positive hpt until they were over 2 weeks late for AF? I've heard of it happening but not sure my positives are definite positives

My friend always had irregular periods growing up. After a few months of no period and handfuls of negative tests as went to the doctor. She was actually 3 months pregnant. She never had a positive test.

I didn't get one until two weeks after AF was due.

I got mine 2 days before expected af but some women don't get positives for months so yes it's possibke to not get one until 2 weeks late
