Yes! I have it! Not something that's easy to deal with but if you love your other that's all that matters!

It would depend on if he managed it with meds etc. I wouldn't want to put my kids in a scary or dangerous environment. Otherwise, of course!

Depends on if you can handle it and help them through it. I'd do as much research on it as possible but also see how it is for them more. Communication is SO important with this, don't let them close you out because of this!

Yes. He was on medication as a teen to help stabilize his moods. My mother and brother are both schizophrenic. Sometimes it's hell to deal with as a family, but he is also my family now. Everybody has their own issues.
