So about 3 months ago, this rough patch of skin appeared on the heel of my foot. I don't recall stepping on anything that would have hurt my foot. I've tried sanding it with one of those PedEggs and it backfired because it ended up bleeding and it callused again. It hurts to apply pressure to it like when I'm walking and ever since it's come up, I've noticed that other parts of my foot such as the arches and my pointer toe are very tender.
