Worried FTM
I was told (2 weeks ago) at my 20 week anatomy scan that my fluid was low. (Oligohydramnios) My doctor told me that it could be wrong due to the way she was positioned at the scan. He told me to decrease my activity level (not bedrest) and come back for a rescan in two weeks.
He said if it is still low in two week that they will just "watch me like a hawk"... he did mention something about the baby won't survive if the fluid is completely depleted.
I have been drinking a lot more water and have been being super lazy and not straining myself when I do do things. Well my rescan is on Thursday. I am so worried that my fluid will still be low.. all I've read is that low fluid in the second trimester is basically a death sentence for the unborn (according to google).
I did good not stressing about it after the first few days of getting the news but now that my appointment is just a couple of days away I can't stop googling and I can't stop assuming the worst. My anxiety is through the roof. It's not healthy and I can't stop worrying. The only reassurance in this situation is my husband being so supportive and the fact that I can now feel my little one move each and every day.
Has anyone experience something similar to having low fluid at 20 weeks?
