doc wants to induce me at 38 weeks ?????!!!!????? concern 🙁

Hello everybody my doc wants to induce me at 38 weeks and I don't even have high blood pressure nor preclamsia nor nothing, my pregnancy have been healthy and awesome. Should I tell him no to wait the full 40 weeks or I should do what he says ?

If there's no real reason besides his preference than just say no thanks you're comfortable waiting. It's your pregnancy and if you're healthy then you don't have to be induced.

I'd ask why. It might be related to baby's size...if he's measuring too big, then they might induce early to avoid the complications that could arise if he gets even bigger those last two weeks.

I think its more of a suggestion , my doc said the same thing but you should be able to opt for longer if everything's OK😘😘

Babies are usually full term at 39w. I would ask your Dr for a specific reason. If you don't agree get a second opinion but definitely ask!! Do what you feel is right for you and the baby.
