At my 37 week appointment my baby was 1/5 engaged, they checked again today and said he was 3/5 at 39+4, what does this mean exactly? Could this mean I've dilated or does it not relate? And also do you have to be 5/5 to go into labour? My pelvis is very low anyway so does this mean I'll possibly have a quicker birth because there's not far for him to travel or does that not matter?
