I heard that birth control was supposed to lighten your period and make it all more tolerable, or maybe even stop your period. Mine seems exactly the same?? What is everyone's experience??

Some birthcontrols make your period light/nonexistent and others give you heavy periods with cramps. Then there are ones that don't change anything for some people.

It depends on the type of birth control you have. It does it because of the hormones & a period isnt needed. It can take time
