Small World?

Question

I found out recently that I had been a flower girl at a wedding where my husband had been a groomsman (well the Indian equivalent of one). We would have been around 10 and 15 at the time - maybe even slightly younger. What are the odds? 😆

When my father in law first came to our house he was like, "I've been here before!" My parents built the house (and I grew up in it), and apparently he put the cable in. He remembers meeting me and my twin when we were about 6!

When I first moved here, there was a home in our area with the most beautiful pink flowers! Whenever I would walk home from school, I would take that route just to look at that tree. Living in Miami, there's tons of palm trees, and since I moved from Virginia I truly missed the Dogwood trees and the seasons.

I met my now husband about a year later, and when it was time to meet his parents, we pulled up in his driveway and I realized we were at the house of the beautiful pink flowered tree 💕💘

11 years later, we're happily married with a toddler and another due in December!

Me and my hubby were in the same school but didnt know it. I was in 8th grade and he in 10th grade, i had a friend who had a older brother who was friends with my hubby so we met alot of times at their house but didnt remember each other when we met 4 years later "for the first time" 😂

I went off to university college and there was this cute boy in my dorm.

I would make excuses to go outside and smoke when I saw him out there (this was when smoking was cool and still legal in restaurants)

After a while and finally came to talk to me.

Turns out we were from the same one stop light, drive your tractor to school day small farm town.

Not only that, he grew up 5 miles from my home and we road the same school bus.

We were two years apart so I never noticed him in classes.

We dated for 3 years.

My grandfather owned a cigar store when my dad was a kid and the store beside it was a music store owned by my husband's great great uncle. My aunt actually has a picture (from back in the sixties), of the two store fronts. Both of our lastnames on the fronts. That was a pretty cool realization.

I also worked at a grocery store that he frequently used to shop in, probably about 8 years before we met, but he's adamant that he would've remembered seeing me before our first date. I definitely don't remember seeing him.

When I first moved to the city I'm in now I was driving to the grocery store. I was at a red light when I looked over and saw a cute boy completely rocking out in his SUV to Adele. I thought it was adorable. 5 months later we met on POF, I thought he looked familiar until I saw his vehicle and learned that he loved Adele. I realized it was the same cute guy 😂 we are now dating

My husband and I were in a class together in college, but didn't find out until we had been dating for awhile. Also, his uncles were my tennis coaches when I was in elementary school and his cousin was a sorority sister of mine.

My mom worked with my husbands dad for about 7-10 years, and I saw his parents at church every Sunday never met my husband until I moved back with my abusive husband and my best friend introduced us. We have been together since and good news his parents love me and my parents love him!

Just over a year before I would actually meet my now husband, I was browsing in his flooring store for new flooring..I was in a very shitty relationship with my first daughters dad, though things were going downhill quickly, I never cheated or bothered flirting/looking at other men, I had pretty low self esteem, but then my now husband walked by as I was picking something out, I was with a friend, and I literally felt my heart begin to race, my palms got sweaty. I remember it clear as day. 
Soon after my ex and I split. I never saw or thought of my now-hubby again until about a year and a half later, I was living on my own with my daughter and our apartment had some water damage so we needed new flooring. My landlord hired his company..... I have to admit I didn't recognize him, I was pretty pre occupied trying to recover my water logged belongings.. but my daughter followed him around the whole time, offering to help him *at this point we had had several contractors and inspectors in, and all but him, she majorly shy'ed away from and wouldn't even go near* Once he was finished and left.. I thought hmm he looked familiar? Didn't think much of it.
Fast forward another week, I got set up on my first ever date/blind date type thing and it went awful. I was so not into dating, the guy was not interesting at all but apparently enjoyed himself enough to add me on Facebook the following day..   Sooo. Back on the old fb days where it would say ___ is now friends with ___, my husband saw this and recognized my name from the job he had just done, added me and sent me a message (I still remember word for word but basically went like : hey I realize this probably sounds super creepy but I recognized your name when cody added you, I just re did your flooring last week. Just wondering how everything is going?) The rest is history.  We literally talked that ENTIRE night and made plans two days later.  We got married exactly 9 months later. It's been 6 years 💕
