Have you ever considered being a surrogate mother?

I am contemplating doing so, my husband & I have 2 healthy children already and am not ready for another but would really love to help a couple out that can't carry or conceive on their own. Just debating, looking for other opinions on the subject.

Not yet but I will be in a couple years. I filled out the application and got the initial approval but decided to put it off for a little. The reason I'm putting it off is because my husband and I decided to try to get pregnant with our 3rd, and probably last biological child, in a few months. If everything goes to plan that baby will be born next summer and I'll start the process to apply for surrogacy at the end of 2016/beginning of 2017. I don't want more than 3 or 4 kids but I love being pregnant and can't imagine only experiencing pregnancy one more time and I'd really love to be able to carry a child for someone. My body handles pregnancy really well. I'm excited about doing this surrogacy thing in a few years!

I can't even get pregnant for myself- let alone someone else :(

I dont think i can carry a child and give them up, thats me, i know biologically they are not mine but i grew and housed them, lolol sorry wording makes me laugh, and loved them for over 9 months.

No. I have a heart condition that would make even carrying my own child life threatening.

I'd never do it, after carrying for 9 months you get attached I couldn't do it.

My sister and her husband have been struggling to get pregnant for years; they've tried IVF several times but haven't been successful. I don't want any children myself and have brought up the idea to my husband of being a surrogate to my sister, but he thinks it would be a bad idea with too many emotional complications.

I would.  But get clucky and want to keep it I hate being pregnant it's horrible. But I get something at the end and its a worth it

I think most surrogacy centers want you to have been pregnant at least once so I can't do it yet, but I would totally do it. My husband's cousin has done it and she said she would do it again and again. It's wonderful!
