Should a pregnant woman celebrate mothers day?

I'm pregnant with my first and my husband plans to do something special for me for mothers day but I feel kinda odd about it ? Is it okay to celebrate even if my baby isn't here yet???

I think it's fine to celebrate and it's fine to not celebrate. Whatever you feel comfortable with! But the fact that your hubby wants to celebrate you is super sweet and I don't see anything wrong with that. You're carrying a child and that's amazing! That's very much a mothering thing ❤

I'm pregnant and feel like a mother. Obviously I haven't had to deal with the trials and tribulations of actually raising the child yet, but I personally feel like you become a mother when you conceive. There's a being with a beating heart growing inside of me ❤️ obviously not everyone has to agree with me and that's ok! My asshole brother, though, actually tries to make me feel bad. He is superstitious and thinks absolutely nothing should be celebrated until baby is born. Um, opening a card is not going to cause me to miscarry.  I've had a miscarriage and it wasn't caused by anything but nature.
