Started taking the pill, and now my period won't stop 🤷🏼♀️
So I've started taking the pill (Levlen ED) as of about a week and a half ago. I started taking it on the first day of my period according to instruction, and took the first pill from the red section according to the corresponding day, which meant that I started on an active pill.
My period is normally only about 5 days, but here we are, 11 days later, and I'm still on my period. Very light, but still bleeding consistently.
Should I be concerned, or is this expected when starting the pill? Should I stick it out for a few months to see if my cycles eventually become regular? Should I see a Dr. and change pills? It's making my partner very tense, and making me even worse!
