Vacation away from baby while breastfeeding?

My husband and I are thinking of going on a vacation next month without our little guy. He will be 11 months old. I have only exclusively breastfed and plan on doing so until he is at least one in mid July.

The trip will be for 3 night and 4 days. I do not love the idea of having to pump every few hours, but I'm not sure there's any way around it to keep my supply regular. I've also never been away from him overnight before!

Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to get through a few days without baby?! I really want to go, but I'm anxious just thinking about it!

I went on vacation with my husband last month for 10 days!! My daughter was 9  1/2 months. I pumped and dumped 2-3 times/day while I was away (depending on how full I was feeling). My mom watched her while we were gone and we left enough frozen breastmilk and pre-pepared and frozen solid foods to last the entire time. She latched right on when I returned and my supply was just fine. It can be done :)

I don't think you have any other choice but to pump every 3 hours while away. Otherwise I can almost guarantee your supply will go down. If he is EBF do you know for sure that he will take a bottle? Have u tried it yet? Make sure u do that several times before leaving him. Mine wouldn't take a bottle for months when I first tried (but my first son was totally opposite and took a bottle no problem so it might be super easy).

left my daughter for 4 nights at 9 months old. I pumped 3 ish times a day, I do feel like my supply went down a bit but my daughter had no problem getting it back to where she needed it. Meaning she nursed more often for a couple days  after we got back until it was back up. She was also sick at the time on antibiotics so everything was out of wack. Turned out great tho! We had an amazing trip!
