Spicy Crawfish?

I ate A LOTTTT of super spicy crawfish and now im kinda worried the spicy might be uncomfortable for my baby? Im 29 weeks tomrrow! Does spicy effect the baby?! (I NEVER eat spicy foods lol)

I've never had a problem with spicy things & really spicy crawfish is my thing!! I love them 😍😍😍 I eat just about everything spicy

I went into preterm labor after eating crawfish with my second child. Delivered at 32 weeks. I literally got home from the restaurant and was in labor.  I didn't know that you aren't supposed to eat a lot of crawfish. 1-2 pounds is the most my doctor told me to have. Had about 1.5 lb last week. Just make sure to take any contractions seriously. I didn't at first. I thought it was Braxton hicks from the spice, but turned out to be actual labor. Don't want to scare you but just want you to be cautious bc I don't want ANYONE going through what we did.

They say not to eat spicy food if you didn't eat it often before getting pregnant. I know its an old wives tale that it will help induce labor in the end. I would just avoid it until you talk to your doctor.
