Does anyone else have a hard time talking to ur partner, how do u cope with that and what ways do u use to finally tell him/her how u really feel

Nope. I pretty much keep it real with everyone all the time lol. I find it much easier than holding everything in. Just be honest. He loves you and nothing you say will change that.

Any time I try to bring something up it's shot down immediately. He doesn't listen to it. So I started to write him. Not a text but a hand written letter. He seems to read those at a time he's in a better mood. Never a text. Nothing is said to me verbally afterward although I can tell my words are on his mind because he makes subtle changes in his behavior towards me for a short time after he's read the letter

I think, when I had/have trouble trying to get through to my husband...I just keep trying. Of course, it's always 'a bad time' to bring anything up. But I just keep trying. I think the part that makes this work though is that my husband knows that I'm coming from a good place and that it's because I care about our long term relationship. And thats why i keep brining  something up he is uncomfortable about confronting. So I suppose we both have a little bit of a balance and patience w this part. Even when I am able to sit down and talk about it with him he often goes along and nothing changes so I'll need to talk to him about it again and remind him, eventually hell get comfortable in his own time to give me back feed and start an actual conversation about our issue, he'll lower his walls n then we will finally be able to move forward, fix and heal our wounds. Even after almost a decade of being together we need to constantly be working and perfecting and learning about communicating.
