Breastfeeding vs Formula?

This is my first child and I was wondering what worked for you. Which do you prefer? Or did you breastfeed and use formula?

Bottom line, make sure baby is fed. That being said, of course breastfeeding offers more benefits for your baby. It's NOT always easy to start with though so if you think you can jump in and have it come naturally, you will likely find it extra hard. If you decide you want to breastfeed, check out resources. Things like classes, lactation consultants etc. Good luck!

I lu-lu-LOVED breastfeeding. The first few weeks are tricky but once you get the hang of it and push through, it's the best thing in the world. It might be the thing I miss most about having a baby. Best wishes!

I combination fed. I breastfed exclusively for three months then started supplementing with formula after that one bottle per day. The thing is, there's no right or wrong thing to do. You will figure out what works for you and your baby and that's what matters! Each method of feeding has its pros and cons. I just wanted to comment because it always seems to me that people think they have to do one or the other, and you really can combination feed.

I had a delay in my milk so baby had formula the first week so I pump and baby gets both
