Please help!!

So I've been trying to have a baby for 2.5 years. This cycle I had some creamy brown discharge around a week ago and also 5 days ago (only a small amount on pants). I don't keep any pregnancy tests in the house as I can't face the disappointment but I just used a clear blue advanced ovulation test and when I looked at the stick it's a strong positive. In on cycle day 24 and usually have 25/26 day cycles. Could this possibly mean anything or is it completely irrelevant? X
