wedding hatred (posted in wrong group)

So this is going to be kind of long.

Background info, my mom and dad are divorced and so are my mom and step dad. My husband and I are married but we just eloped because weddings are expensive and we didn't have the money.

Now, my older sister is getting married in August, I agreed to be her maid of honor. After agreeing she's been telling me how they're affording this wedding like my dad is helping out and so is my former step dad and my mom, and then of course her fiances family.

I'm really annoyed because she treated my dad like shit (didn't talk to him for years) after my mom and him got divorced, I was the only daughter of his that tried to keep a good relationship with him & same with my former step dad. But now they're helping her with her wedding???? We told them we were just getting eloped because we didn't have the money and didn't have any help. Now they're helping her?

I kind of just want to back out of being the maid of honor and leave the whole wedding scene because this whole situation is making me feel shitty.

Would I be a bitch if I backed out? Should I confront my dad?
