Is light and intermittent cramping normal in the second trimester?

I'm experiencing some mild cramping on my right side. This cramping is what led me to find out I was pregnant in the first place because it was non stop and severe. Since yesterday it comes and goes and is very mild though. Just wondering what your thoughts are. Should I be worried? I have NO BLEEDING.

It's just everything growing and stretching. If it's painful or you have other symptoms call your doctor for some reassurance. Keep an eye on baby's movements also.

I have cramps randomly, and my midwife says that it's just growth.

While I definitely think you should consult your doctor, I just want to say that I went through the same thing and it turned out that I wasn't drinking enough water. Once I started to drink more water, the cramping went away.
