Repeating pregnancy blood test??

Hello everyone.

So, I got a positive pregnancy test Monday this week (yay!). Just had a miscarriage in February, so I'm even more anxious this time around.

I called my doctor right away and she ordered me a blood test with a progesterone screening. I went for my test Thursday and just got the results today. It was positive, but no results from the progesterone test yet . But she wants me to repeat the pregnancy test this Monday to check the numbers again... does anyone know why she would have me do this again so soon? Or which numbers she wants to check again? Or is this fairly normal?

I don't want to seem like I'm being dramatic, but after last time, I am just a hot mess right now 😳.
