So last night my van decided it wasnt going to start. Thought maybe the battery was dead. Tried to jump it. Nope. That wasnt it. Looked at the starter and noticed the braided wire that connects the starter and the starter solenoid had fried in half. Oh great. So today, in between thunderstorms, my 5 month pregnant self decided i needed to fix it. So here I am under the van replacing a starter with my big ole belly. After some tough screws, i was able to get the old one off and the new one on, all the while the men in my complex look in amazement because they didnt even know how to do it. I feel proud of myself. Ive made sure to learn mechanics as to never rely on a man.
