Anyone ever been paralysed from epidural?

Anyone ever been paralysed from having an epidural or know of anyone this has happened to? Or any other long term major affects?
This is my worst fear 😱😱😱😱

I've never had one, but I do know a few people that have had very severe complications, including paralysis. If you're very worried, try talking to your doctor about risk factors and alternatives.

Ive had 5.... Had complications with 5 of them. Either they didnt work, or after getting it I had really bad migraines and still continuously have a "soft" spot in my back. You cant touch my back without me having extreme pain where i had them. Also with my last when they were doing it she hit something and it caused a spinal fluid leak. Yeah that sucks. So with my 6th and final baby im opting to not get one. I had one willingly with my first and second cause i was so young and scared but with the other 3 they told me they were going to prepare me for a c section and i either get it or be put under during. So i opted for epidural and didnt have to end up with a c section after all.

A friend of mine said she couldnt pee on her own for about a week which sucked and got some really bad headaches for a few months... but got the epidural again for her second recently and was fine. She said it made things 1000x better to have it
