Okay ladies, little back story... I am currently on my 8th day in the hospital, sitting at 5cm and 70% effaced with my 32 & 2 weeker. On top of a possible preemie, my little girl has been diagnosed with Complete Heart Block, basically where the top and bottom of her heart don't electrically connect, so one beats about 130 and the other at 50 with a collective HR of 40-60 on the heart monitor. Given the fact that monitors don't accurately pick up on her HR, if I have a vaginal delivery, they have no way of monitoring if she is under any form of distress. My doctors said that as long as delivery is quick, there shouldn't be much distress, but gave me the option to opt out and have a c-section. I am still leaning toward the vaginal delivery, but would love some input, what would you ladies do??
