weight gain 3rd trimester 😳

So this entire pregnancy I didn't gain weight until I was 33 weeks (didn't lose just didn't gain), I weigh myself every Sunday and today I turned 36 weeks and in the 3 weeks I've gained 6lbs! My appetite has definitely increased but is this how it's going to go until delivery? I'm already so uncomfortable with this huge belly and didn't plan on buying any maternity clothes.
