I'm a smoker and just curious!!! Let's make thos a safe place to talk...not rudeness and fighting....and judging plz

I quit the day I found out. No judgement because I know exactly how hard it is I smoked for 10 years. But if baby is important enough to you, you can literally not buy another box. It's a mental thing and no matter how many people say they had healthy children while smoking, you could be the exception. Smoking has lots of cancer causing chemicals and constricts babies oxygen. I always ask myself, would I want MY mother smoking weed or cigs while she was pregnant with me. Babies deserve a healthy start. You can do it mama. Believe that it's all mental. Good luck! (Once again no judgement, 10 year smoker here. I know how hard it is)

As bad as it sounds I do 33 weeks. I use to smoke a pack or more a day but have cut down to like about 4 or 5 a day sometimes less depending on how stressed or if my anxiety hits hard. My Dr also told me as long as I cut down its ok of course he said if I can stop would be better. My lil rainbow baby is due July 10th. This was just last week and she's growing just perfect!! And please like mention no bashing or rude comments. Quoting smoking is one of the hardest things to do!!

My neighbor smoked a lot during pregnancy. Her baby was healthy just had a lazy eye (idk if thats cause of the cigs)
Smoking weed though, my whole family and everyone i know that smoked during pregnancies, all the kids were healthy and happy

I've never been pregnant BUT a friend of mine is a heavy smoker, a box a day or a box and a half, she has had 3 kids theyre now 11, 9 and 6. She smoked throughout her pregnancies and all her babies are healthy, not a single complication in her delivery. She took vitamins and ate as healthy as possible, was always hydrated as if not she would get so tired. So I can't say exactly how much a day would affect you or your baby as not all women are the same but just try to smoke as few as possible. Keep your mind bussy on other things. Hope this helps!
