Pascal's Wager
For those of you who don't know pascal is a 17th century philosopher who thought that everyone ghouls believe in the Christian god because he might be real so you might as well believe in Him so you won't go to hell if he DOES exist. I learned about this is a Faith and Morality class at my high school.
Like. I can't. If you apply ANY logic to this, you would more likely have to believe in gods that have been worshipped for way longer than the Judeo/Christian God, like pagan sun gods.
Or gods that REALLY care if you believe in them like Quetzalcoatal, an Aztec god.
Any other thoughts on Pascal's Wager? Anyone heard of it before my post or had someone use it on you trying to convince you to come to Jesus?
