implant period

Hi! So I recently got the implant and before I was on the pills and the time I got my implant was on the week I was supposed get my period. I got the implant on a Tuesday and my period on Sunday of that week. Now I've been on my period for 9 days and I'm still in that stage where I'm still like discharging small amounts of blood. Anyone experience something like this and did it last long? I'm not worried, it's not heavy just super annoying because it's too heavy for a liner but too light for a regular pad :/
