2nd csection any advice?

I'm going tomorrow to my 38 week check up and scheduling my c-section. My last baby was an emergency c-section. So what should I expect this time? More pain? Different procedure? I'm so nervous surgery scares me!

Same! My second C is on March 25. First was an emergency. Hoping that because this one is planned, recovery will be easier (and that they'll not have to cut horizontally instead of horizontally and vertically!)

I have my second booked for 25th as baby still breech, my first was emergency as she got distressed, just take it easy afterwards, hope all goes well for you :-)

I just had my 2nd c-section on 3/3 and I don't feel like I was in anymore pain with this one than my first one. My dr scheduled mine for 39 weeks so that I didn't go into labor. She also told me when she was finished that there was hardly any scar tissue so I am not sure if that had anything to do with not having more pain. I also got out of bed as soon as I could and tried to do everything I could myself, like going to fill my water cup in the middle of the night. Hope this helps
