getting pregnant almost 5 months post bariatric surgery?

Hey everyone, is there anyone out there who got pregnant a few months after having Bariatric  surgery? Mind sharing your first synptoms with me?

I had VSG done in December 29th 2016. I have dropped 68 pounds in almost 5 months and I'm doing great so far. But lately I haven't been feeling my best. I've been nauseous a lot and bloated. I know when I'm expecting my period, but the past week I've been having doubts. I can't stand this nauseous feeling.

I had the roux n y bypass June 10, 2013. Got pregnant in July 2014 after 150 lb weight loss. My symptoms were normal pregnancy symptoms.

Hello and congrats on the great start of your weight loss journey.

I got a RNY Bypass in December 2014, lost 100 pounds in about a year's time frame. Was on the Depo shot for about a year and a half after my surgery (per doctor's orders). Then stopped getting the Depo around mid 2016. Found out I was pregnant February 2017 and am due September 2017 with a baby boy.

My first symptoms were sore nipples (not even whole breasts, just the nipples) that lasted for about a month and a half before my first whole day of being  nauseous. . .I would get nauseous on and off during the "sore nipples phase" but I figured that was just from my surgery, especially if I knew I was eating something I probably shouldn't be. After the full day of nausea I decided I better go ahead and take a pregnancy test just in case and sure enough it was positive!

Also because of the weight and being on the Depo I couldn't base any of this off my period, which has always been super irregular anyway, so I had to base it off how I was feeling. After that full day of nausea and talking to my mom and a co-worker about the sore nipples I decided I should test just to be on the safe side and am so glad I did!
