won't stop screaming

Need some late night advice! My LO is going bonkers tonight. Went to bed fine but woke up an hour later scream crying. Got him back to sleep then woke up another hour later doing the same. Won't go to sleep just screams and flops around in his crib. He's well fed, definitely tired, dry diaper and doesn't seem gassy or anything. Any idea or anyone else experience something similar? He's never like this so I have no idea what to do.
