28 Weeks pregnant, car accident

So yesterday after I had my 28 week normal baby appointment, my husband and I were involved in a high impact car accident. The seatbelt caught me pretty bad, almost ripping my shirt when it caught. I went to the ER and have a deep compression bruise from the seatbelt on my chest, a bruise on my hip from the seatbelt and on my neck. They checked babies heartbeat, but that was all even after watching my stomach tighten a good every 5-10 minutes. They didn't send me to be monitored or to get an ultrasound. I haven't felt her actually kick, or hiccup or anything since yesterday during my normal OB appointment. So at this point I'm asking if I need to call and tell my ob what happened and that the baby wasn't checked, this is my rainbow baby girl. Side note it was an off duty cop that pulled out in front of us and it was ruled 100% his fault.
