baby in hips??

Can a baby be in my hips? I'm 33 weeks on Monday, and for the past two hours when I walk, it hurts and it's like on my right side it's by hip/butt area I'm just wondering cause I'm a first time mom, and don't know if a baby can.

The BABY can't be in your hips but pressure can cause discomfort and pain as well as the fact that your hips are relaxing. They start to spread weeks before you give birth so that delivery is easier. The last few weeks of pregnancy were almost unbearable to me where my hips were concerned. Wish I could be more encouraging in that aspect but to answer your question, it's BECAUSE of the baby but not the baby itself.
