How would you give credit to a nurse who took care of you?

Hi ladies! 
I keep thinking about an incredible nurse who helped me though my labor and delivery and I want to thank her but I don't even know how I would go about contacting her or her boss to let her know that she was so amazing. 
At the hospital where I delivered all nurses name tags say their first names only. The hospital is humongous and I don't know how it would get back to her specifically. I tried to look on the hospital website but I can't seem to find anywhere to contact about her outstanding performance. Have any of you been able to personally thank or recommend a hospital staff member after the birth?

Talk to the charge nurse & give the date & shift, she can look it up

Haven't been to that point yet, but have you tried calling the hospital? Say you had so-and-so as one of your labor and delivery nurses, she looks like this and I would like to talk to her boss about how wonderful she was?
