Hey! So I am not having a baby shower so we decided to do a gender reveal shower when I'm 5 months..is this tacky? I would really like to register for a baby registry for a few important things but I just don't know feel kind of weird..lol

Honestly if you are registering somewhere then it's more like a baby shower where the gender is being announced. Generally people don't have a registry for gender reveal parties. I don't think it's tacky necessarily but it is technically a baby shower if you are registering for gifts.

Those that I heard who had a gender reveal celebration kept it small and intimate. No gift giving  unless that individual person wanted to bring something. It was more ofa relax  gathering with close friends/families and good food.

But it's your party and you can do what you to 🤷🏾‍♀️

I would just put on the invites to bring an unwrapped box of diapers and to come join the fun, food, and find out the gender.

My friend did the gender reveal only when she was 6 months pregnant but the only thing that said that if someone wanted to bring something for the baby can do it .. she did not baby shower
