Do you think tall women take longer to show?

I'm 5'10" and I have 2 other friends who are 5'2" and 5'5". I'm currently 14 weeks, then they are 16 and 11 weeks respectively. This is our first child and they both look like they're smuggling basketballs and I look just bloated sometimes. Do you think height plays a part in when the bump shows or is this just random? Because we are all convinced height plays a part lol. Thanks for your opinions!

I think a longer torso makes a different. I have short legs and a longer torso and my belly took a long time to pop.

I'm 5'9" and my entire pregnancy (37w now) people have told me how "small" I look for how far along I am.
My OB said my baby has a lot of space to hide in my torso- so I definitely do believe it takes longer to show and you likely won't be carrying as far out front!

I'm 5'10 also and I have more torso then legs... I'm sure I won't show till 20 weeks or so... my first pregnancy I was taking my mat leave at 38 weeks and at the end of the day I was saying my good byes. A coworker asked me where I was going and if I got a new job lol... I said yes, mom! I'm due in 2 weeks they were floored hahahaha. Runs in the family, my mom had 4 kids and hid all her pregnancies forever! Mind you she had 4 kids by 22!! I just want to show at some point hahaha!!!

I'm 5'7 with my first.. I'm 39+3 and I still have to tell people I'm pregnant lol. I didn't start showing until I was 33+ weeks, but it was apparently only obvious to me and my fiancé. I'm curvy too though with wide hips.. but I def think my height has something to do with it

I'm 5'2" and it took me until 30 weeks to show. I think it just depends on your body! ☺️

I'm 5'3" with a short torso and didn't start showing really at all until 20 weeks, and that was just a little bit.  I'm 27 weeks now and finally popped.

Yes if your tall, you will carry differently. Im a short ass and show at 12wks

I'm also 5 10! I started showing at 16w now showing for real at 24w. I've seen shorter women smaller and bigger than me, think it is just every woman is different, although, my doctor told me taller women could feel more ligament pain.

Yes! My first I was so worried because everyone kept saying how small I was. I was so concerned something was wrong. He was born at 39 weeks, was 7lb11oz and 20". Im pregnant with #2 and keep hearing the same thing, but I just blow it off this time. Everything is measuring just fine so I just tell people he has lots of room to stretch out. Doesn't always shut them up, but it is a response that confirms everything is fine, no worries.
