If you have a 15 year old daughter who's a mother..or know one.. Is she a good mother?

My mom was a 14 year old mother. No she was not a good a good mother.

Kids should not be raising kids.

My mom had me at 15 and she is a great mom! She was able to raise my brothers and I as friends and as her children. She raised us to be able to be open with her and trust her. She asked me to tell her when I started kissing boys so she could put me on birth control. She didn't want history to repeat itself! She is very responsible and protective of her kids. Her youngest is 10 and if I recall correctly he's only stayed the night at a friends house one time and I wasn't even allowed to cross the highway until I was like 13. Lol. Age doesn't define your ability to be a good mother. That's all she wanted to be in life and she just got started a little earlier than most. Which is okay! Just make sure you ARE ready!

I am NOT promoting teen pregnancy in any way. I just wanted to share my experience with my teen mom. She did great. I have a best friend and a mom wrapped in one.♡

I became a mother at 17 (am now 23) My parents helped watch my daughter through my senior year, so I was able to graduate with my class. I worked full time through the summer, got my associates in business online, and saved enough money to buy my own house the summer I turned 19. This last year I married the most wonderful man, and he treats my daughter like his own.
Being a good mother is a choice, regardless of age.

I had my first child at 15 and I can honestly say I was a better mother then than many 30 year old moms I know now. It all depends on the person.

I have a friend who had a baby at 15, I didn't know her then, didn't meet until she was in her 20s, she's a good mother but also had a TON of support from both sets of grandparents.

I had my son when I was 16, and I was a devoted, loving and selfless mother from day 1! 
He is 5 now and him and his sister (3) are absolutely my entire world.

I think it depends of the girl. some look at motherhood as a time when she has to grow up and step up, and others look at it like, my family will help and I won't have to do anything but have fun and be more like a sister than a mom. unfortunately, I don't personally know any teen moms who stepped up and were "good" moms. the only young moms I know personally are too selfish. not that im perfect by any means but I also think I would've been too selfish as a teen.
