major necessities for hospital bag??

I need personal preferences and not just things you find online. What did you REALLY need at the hospital. Thanks ladies

Toiletries, comfortable clothes for after delivery & release day, granny panties, socks, baby clothes, phone charger, movies (if they have a DVD player) or tablet....

This time around I'll be bringing an extra blanket because I get cold really easily & the covers were thinnnn.

I didn't see flip flops for the shower mentioned.  If you went away for college think what you need to be comfortable in a dorm shower.

I'm also packing nipple shields this time around.

Best thing I brought was my own pillow. Used it all thru labor, delivery, and after. Just make sure to put a colored case on it so it doesn't get mistaken for a hospital one. Comfortable tank tops I could pull down to nurse for another big one. I didn't wear pants until I left the hospital LOL. Chargers ... An extension cord is priceless. Camera if you don't use your phone as one. And remember your SO should also bring a bag. Unless you live right around the corner from the hospital, pack like you're going to be there for three or so days. You never know what's going to happen and you don't want to get caught unprepared. 
Baby clothes in a couple of sizes. Keep it simple ... footed onesie with hands that fold over is perfect. Mittens never stay on and those nails are razor sharp. It'll likely be a few weeks before you get up the nerve to cut them LOL. My son had cut up his face before we even knew what was happening!
