Well baby boy has complex congenital heart disease (more than one heart issue). Looks like transposition of the great arteries and an under-developed left side due to mitral valve issue. Currently 18+5 and waiting for a call from Children's Hospital cardiologist for fetal echo and official diagnosis/plan. So scared right now and just hurting for my little boy. Wish so hard it could be me or there was a way I could fix it. Looks like at least one surgery in the first week of life (best case) with maybe more to follow. Just hoping so hard that the cardiologist will see something positive and this will be an "easy fix". Anyone out there with positive success stories about their little one going through some similar? I know every situation is different, just wanted to reach out and see. Waiting game is so hard and we're just so worried about our little guy 😢😢😢
