weaning bottles & milk??

FTM of a 10 month old who currently eats 3 meals a day and usually 1/2 snacks. Her bottles are Btwn 6-8 oz 5 times a day. How do I begin weaning her? Are bottles all done by a year? What about the formula? So confused...any advice greatly appreciated!! TIA

My daughter is 13 months now. As she started eating more solids, she did reduce the amount of breastmilk she took but breastmilk/formula should still be the main source of nutrition until one. At one, you can start switching over to cow or goat milk gradually.

Just keep giving her as much milk/formula as she wants!

I would say the amount should remain the same until a year and then baby will gradually wean feedings on their own. You can also start giving milk instead of formula after a year but I would do it slowly not cold turkey. You can also start having baby practice using a sippy cup or open cup with formula in it.
