Is it true?

Question

I am a FTM and expecting my first baby this October. I really want to have a vaginal birth. I read this article about things that happen in the labor. Now, this might sound weird, but how many of you have pooped and peed while pushing? 
I read that this might happen and I really want to hear some stories from mothers that have been through this.

I did with both kids; I didn't know I did with my first I was so proud bragging that I didn't poop then about 2 months later I was talking to my mil about it cause she was there and I said "I didn't poop and I'm glad I think I would have been embarrassed" she looks at me dead serious and says "oh you did" I was like "I DID!" She like "yea we just didn't want to tell you we thought you'd be embarrassed" I was like "embarrassed then how do you think I feel now?" Lol I worked so hard for him they didn't want me to focus on that
With my second I knew I did I felt it I didn't care tho I just wanted her out.

I've had 3 kids this is number 4 and I have never done either. I know when I got a catheter with my first I shot it out after my first push from pushing so hard so it did leak all over the doctor 😂 but I know this go around if I do my boyfriend will never let me live it down he already said I can't wait for you to poop when you push so I can hold it over your head 😑 lol I do love him but I may throat punch him!

It does happen to almost everyone. The baby flattens your rectum on the way out and you're pushing so hard.  No one cares. No one thinks or talks about it. It's just what happens.  Don't even worry about it.

My boyfriend said I pooped after the first push 😃 I was like REALLY since I had already pooped three times that day but oh well. Before I even started pushing I mentioned it to the nurse "but what if I poop" "I'm probably going to" and she just said it's no big deal she'll just clean it up lol i always thought there was a bazillion nurses/doctors in the room when you start pushing, but apparently that doesn't happen til the baby is right there about to come out....so thankfully it was just the one nurse (and my bf) who saw

Yes it does happen lol. It hasn't to me yet since I'm only 39 weeks. But it's happened to my sister's and some friends I know lol. They all have said they didnt even notice and they clean it up so fast so you don't see it. The only part I'm now concerned about is my husband knowing and never letting me live it down 😂 hopefully I'll just get lucky, if not oh well lol. That's the last thing I'll be worried about during that time.

it's normal, you won't even know you did it. the doctors/nurses clean it up right away & won't even say anything about it.

Definitely pooped while pushing. Definitely peed in the jacuzzi because I was scared of having a. contraction outside of the water. Not as traumatic as I had expected 🙄🙄
