I recently began having sex and had some really weird urinal things going on, so I went to the doctor and found out I have a UTI. The doctor prescribed me a medication as well as canisten (not sure how to spell) yeast infection insert things. She didn't tell me I had a yeast infection, she just told me to take it just in case. So, is there anything I should know about having sex in the meantime? I am obviously waiting until the pain is gone to do anything, but is it a bad idea to began having sex again once it doesn't hurt anymore? Or do I have to wait until my 7 days of prescription is up? Also, can you pass a yeast infection to a guy? we don't normally use condoms but should we for a while? thanks ☺️ x
