I think you should definitely try it. It's the easiest option. But it ended up not working out for me because I wasn't great at taking it regularly, plus it decreased my sex drive to almost nothing. But many women have great experiences with it.

Ask your doctor if it's right for you. Look into other options that can moderate your period, too. The pill killed my best friend and she was just taking it to manage her cramps.
