Anyone else's hands swell when they hike/walk?

Every weekend we go on hikes.. not too long, 3-4 miles but my hands swell up really bad. Never my feet or legs. Anyone else end up with sausage fingers after walking?

Is it getting hot/humid where you live? I have this problem even when not pregnant, worse when its hot out. Just my hands.

Yes. Holding your hands above your head or pumping your fingers can help. Don't wear jewelry.

My fingers swell after walking also. Sometimes I'll hold them up above my head to reverse the blood and fluid direction. I think it's just the pooling from dangling down for so long while your heart rate is heightened.

Yes!! It's always just my hands. I gotta have my boyfriend take the dog leash sometimes because my fingers are so tight feeling!
